Bajirao and Mastani to get engaged in Feb 2016!

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have been dating each other since they came together for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela” in 2013. While Ranveer has openly displayed his affection for the leggy actress, Deepika has been reserved about her relationship. In fact, the feisty actor even disclosed openly his feelings about getting settled at the start of 2015. Though it has been a year, there is a reason why he had to wait for this long.

Actually, Ranveer’s parents have no objection about him getting married to Deepika. They are happy and feel their son has chosen the best life partner. But, Deepika’s parents have another plan for their daughter. As both the love birds are closely attached to their parents and cannot see them unhappy, it took a year to get approval of the actress’s parents.

Now with elders from both the sides on the same boat, reliable sources have spilled the beans about the couple planning to get engaged in February 2016.

A new jolt for Salman Khan in the hit-and-run case!

The Maharashtra Government has decided to challenge the verdict passed on by the Bombay High Court on December 10 that freed Salman Khan of all the charges in the hit-and-run case. It has clarified its decision to the Bombay High Court about filing a plea against the verdict. For which, It has appointed  Abhinandan Vagyani as its  pleader who will file A Special Leave Petition in the Supreme Court.

The Law and Judiciary department of the State has given approval to go ahead with the filing of the petition. The SLP will be filed on the same day of the hearing of the PIL (public interest litigation) filed by Nikhil Wagle, senior journalist, asking for compensation for the victims.

The actor was given five-year jail sentence by the session court on May 6, following which his lawyer appealed to the High Court, which eventually relieved him of all the charges. The High Court Judge A. R. Joshi said that the prosecutor failed to produce substantial proof to hold Salman guilty of drunk and driving and causing the accident that killed one and injured four others.

As the case has now turned into a new phase with the Maharashtra Government taking an active interest in challenging the verdict, a fresh lease of trouble is surely on Salman’s way.

Salman and Shahrukh pose for a selfie of the year!

Friendship and enmity in Bollywood is well-known to all of us. We have seen the thickest of friends turn foe and vice versa. Whenever stories of love and hatred between actors are discussed, the names of two superstars instantly come to our lips. Yes! Who can forget how Salamn Khan and Shahrukh got engaged in a wild brawl that made one to catch hold of another’s collar, several years ago. The two of them have not been on talking terms since then and can’t see eye-to-eye on many things. However, that is a history, and now both have realized that is better to bury all the ill feelings and be friends once again.

In a bid to end their enmity and become friends again, and seal lips of many who have been talking rubbish about the relationship between them, SRK promoted his latest movie ‘Dilwale’ on Bigg Boss 9. To promote the episode, the channel also shot a small commercial in which both are seen enacting one of the famous scenes from ‘Karan Arjun.’ Closed sources revealed that both the Khans were enjoying the presence of each other and became nostalgic. They hugged and praised each other and jokingly admitted to shutting up mind and mouth of all, who wants to know what is going on between two of them.

According to the sources, Salman said that he watched Karan Arjun a few months ago, and he got emotional seeing the scene in which both the brothers die. He also said that he is happy to share the stage with Shah Rukh after a long time.

Breaking his silence on their long rivalry, SRK said  We love each other a lot, but we knew that whenever we will come together, we won’t have any issue anymore, no matter what people say. Our families knew that no one shall be able to reunite us; rather we shall make peace on our own because we never parted ways in our heart but only due to some communication issues.”

Salman also added that “Neither I nor SRK badmouthed about each other during our fall-out phase.”

Breaking their rivalry and beginning a new era of their friendship, they clicked a selfie and captioned it #Bhai Bhai! Making it the selfie of the year.

Giving his statement, Justice Joshi said “this court has come to conclusion that the prosecution has failed to bring material on record to establish beyond reasonable doubt that the appellant (Salman Khan) was driving and under the influence of alcohol, also, whether the accident occurred due to bursting (of tyre) prior to the incident or tyre burst after the incident….”

Bombay High Court orders Salman Khan to be present in the court for the hearing

The 13-year long Hit and Run Case is at the last stage of its hearing. The Bombay High Court is gearing up to issue its final verdict today, December 10, 2015. To conclude the case, the High Court has ordered Salman Khan to be present in the court as his presence is necessary to implement action the final hearing demands.

Salman’s lawyer said that his client had no issue in attending the hearing and asked the court to provide police security to the defendant. The lawyer also told the court that the actor’s shooting location was 2 hours away from the court.

The way the case had proceeded since it started five-year ago, everything has appeared falling in the actor’s favour. And this final hearing is expected to consolidate that support. For, just a couple of days ago, the court has provided much relief to Salman Khan as it said there is no proof against the actor that can prove him driving the car on the night of the accident. It also said that there is no witness to testify that the actor was in a drunk state at the time of the accident. It also nullified the statement given by the actor’s deceased bodyguard Ravindra Patil.

The argument on whether the actor is guilty or innocent will start today at 1 pm and continue till evening, after which the final judgement will come out.

Deepika to appear with Vin Diesel in XXX 3!

Deepika Padukone has bagged a pivotal role in the famous XXX franchise. She will be paired opposite Vin Diesel in the upcoming third installment “XXX : The Return of Xander Cage”. Ever since she posted her picture on her social media page with Vin Diesel, speculation was on the rife about her appearing in an international project. Confirming the speculation, a source close to the actress revealed that soon after the success party of “Tamasha,” Deepika flew to America to complete the signing formality for the film. The lanky actress has also posted one selfie with the Hollywood actor on her social media account proving the rumour true that was doing the round for a while.

Given her talent about justifying any role, there is no doubt that she will sweep the global audience off their feet with her charisma. She would have definitely tasted success on an international platform had she not rejected an offer of working in “Fast and Furious 7.” At that time, her dates were colliding with Shah Rukh Khan’s “Happy New Year,” which is why she let the offer go. But she didn’t stop dreaming of another international project falling in her kitty.

Now that she has finally bagged a Hollywood movie, it will be interesting to see her romancing Vin Diesel and kicking some bad ass.

Aamir doesn’t need to prove his patriotism – Shah Rukh Khan

aamir shahrukh

The remark over ‘intolerance’ by Aamir Khan snowballed into a heated debate that saw every commoner, and intellectual from a wide field raising his or her voice in favor and against him. The heat of the debate was also felt by the companies that made him brand ambassador. Fans and celebrities shared their thoughts openly and frankly through any ways they could.  Twitter and Facebook saw a wild fire of flak over the remark. In fact, many even ran a kind of campaign asking people to stop buying products the actor is endorsing.

While there were disapproval for his remarks, there were also a few voices that saw nothing wrong in whatever Aamir said in the interview that sparked the controversy. Jumping into the bandwagon of support is the long-time arch rival Shah Rukh Khan. Speaking at an event organized in Kolkata, SRK said “You don’t have to be proving your patriotism in any other way, except for thinking good for the country and doing good. You have to work for the benefit of the country. If I work for the country in the most kindest way in what I am good at, my country is going to benefit from that. But if I am corrupt, and regional about it, I will be harming my country,”
